Sadie Keiran is a Massachusetts native who moved with her family to Fayston, Vermont, during high school. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 2025 with a B.S. in Environmental Studies. During her time at UVM, Sadie participated in student organizing, serving as the treasurer of the Vermont Public Interest Group (VPIRG) student chapter and as the vice president of UVM for Yasuní. Her passion for advocacy and community engagement led her to spend three summers canvassing with VPIRG, ultimately becoming the Logistics Director for the 2025 Democracy Campaign. Sadie is now excited to begin her next chapter as a Legislative Assistant with Action Circles, where she looks forward to gaining hands-on experience in the Statehouse and contributing to the strengthening of Vermont’s communities and organizations. In her free time, Sadie enjoys skiing at Mad River Glen during the winter months, and, when off the slopes, can be found experimenting with new recipes, hiking, or traveling around New England.

Sam Hartnett recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in Political Science. He grew up in Maryland, just outside of DC before moving to Montpelier as a teenager. While pursuing his degree, he canvassed for three summers with the Vermont Public Interest Research Group, as a Field Manager and later Camping and Logistics Director for the 2024 Summer canvass. In 2025, he worked as a reporter for UVMs Community News Service and later the weekly newspaper Seven Days. On weekends, Sam can be found wrenching on anything with an engine or tending to his backyard garden.
