8:30 am – 10:00 am at the Office of Lt. Governor, every Friday, during the legislative session, my office is open from for community conversation. My weekly ‘Coffee with Constituents’ event. Last year I made some great connections, learned new ideas, introduced allies, discussed legislative solutions, and built friendship with a wide variety of Vermonters. My staff and interns are also available to answer questions, look up legislation, point you to committee rooms and introduce you to your legislators. Everyone is invited to this weekly event and no reservation is required. Coffee, tea and snacks are provided.

7:30am – 2:00 pm – at the Vermont Statehouse and connect directly with your legislators and your colleagues and others who care about housing and conservation. The Vermont Housing and Conservation Coalition Legislative Day is the day for housing and conservation supporters to champion the projects and values supported by Vermont Housing & Conservation Board funding. Come for as much of the day as you can!

7:30 am – 9:00 am at Hampton Inn Bennington. The Chamber will be hosting a Legislative Breakfast on Monday, February 11th beginning at 7:30am at the Hampton Inn in Bennington’s Hannaford Plaza. Many of our Chamber members, along with Bennington residents, have questions/concerns about the issues that legislators within Vermont will be tackling in this session. Local representatives, senators and other stakeholders will be in attendance to answer those questions and give insight to provide an outlook of the year ahead.

All are welcome to attend. This event is $15 at the door (CASH OR CHECK ONLY PLEASE), and free for members of the Bennington Area Chamber of Commerce.

Following our briefing by Senator Cummings, we will host a reception for all legislators, giving us the opportunity to discuss issues of importance to the business community with them.
