Wednesday Nov. 1, 2017 – Framingham, MA
Action Circles’ Amy Shollenberger will “Crack the Code to Engage Your Grassroots” at this year’s Massachusetts Nonprofit Network annual conference.
Amy’s workshop gives participants the chance to build their organizing skills with the Action Circles Model of Organizing, which can help them increase open rates, get more people to take action, and build enthusiasm among grassroots activists. Through an interactive presentation, facilitated discussions, and activities using real-world examples, participants will learn:
- how to identify ways to get grassroots activists involved in any campaign,
- how to write email alerts and phone scripts that lead to a higher rate of engagement,
- how offering multiple levels of engagement can result in more participation and better leadership development.
This workshop is ideal for staff who want to engage members, supporters, and grassroots activists in both organizational support and campaign activities—in particular, field organizers, development staff, and policy directors. Young professionals with a few years of experience will benefit most from this workshop.
The conference theme, this year, is 10 Years of Strengthening Nonprofits—featuring a wealth of workshops and exhibitor offerings available to strengthen your organization’s work. More information and registration on the MNN site.
