Amy Shollenberger has a rare talent: she can get people to do things. From the President of the United States to the manager of the local convenience store, getting people to do things is roughly task one.
Still, I will grant there are many ways to get people to do things … some more effective than others. None, in my judgment is more effective than getting individuals to believe that by identifying common goals and defining a common cause, each of them will succeed; as will the entity. This is exactly Ms. Shollenberger’s area of expertise. I’ve watched her do it with groups of great disparity – age the least of it – and always with the same result: people pull together and roll toward the goal.
